Jonathan's Blessing
Our sweet Jonathan Kelly Higgins received his blessing yesterday. Dustin performed the ordinance and gave Jonathan a wonderful blessing. How grateful we are that Dustin is worthy to do so! We are also so grateful for our supportive family we love so much! It was so neat for us to have Dustin's brothers, dad, and my dad participate in the blessing. There is so much joy and peace in being surrounded by righteous lovedones.Jonathan looked so pure and sweet in his little blessing outfit. I remember shopping with my mother-in-law two-and-a-half years ago for a blessing outfit for Benjamin. When we saw this one, we both looked at each other and smiled... it was perfect! I am so happy to have little Jonathan wear it, too. I love the pioneer-ish style, as it reminds me that this precious Gospel and the Lord's promises are ours because of the faith and devotion of our progenitors and that His course is truly one eternal round.

Mari's Wedding!!
My sister is married!!! Hurray!! Mari married Josh Kjar (pronounced "care") on Friday, June 6 in the Manti, Utah Temple. (We did a quick road-trip so we could be there.) It was wonderful! Josh is an awesome guy and we are so happy to have him in the family. Everything was perfect. The sealing was such a sweet experience. They are a wonderful couple. I love you so much, Mar! (Isn't she the most gorgeous bride?)
The reception was beautiful, too (way to go, everyone!) It was in Josh's backyard in Aurora, Utah (just southwest of Manti). My other sister, Mollie, was a bridesmaid and I was privileged to be the Matron of Honor. Mari and Josh were absolutely GLOWING! These are pictures of random reception moments. We are so excited for the happy couple!
PS: Here's a couple of pics of Jonathan with his Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa... aren't they so sweet?
Mari's Guestbook
Speaking of Mari and Josh's wedding, I made them a guestbook I'm excited about. :) I designed pages with their engagement pictures on Photoshop Elements and then uploaded them on this online publishing website (Heritage Makers, http://www.familystorybooking.com/) to publish them into a library-bound book. I really enjoyed finding my way around Photoshop and the final product turned out fantastic! I'm so excited about it, so I thought I'd post it. Here's some pics of the final product and a link to view all the pages.
